The single was published in 2015, when she was turning 19. It quickly became a hit that both critics and the fans were awed by the song. It reached number 19 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named it as one of the top songs of the year. The same year when she dropped Know It All. Scars to Your Beautiful, one of her five original tracks included on the Billboard Charts including Billboard Hot 100 in Canada and Billboard 200 for Canadian Albums Charts. The track is special since, in light of her Rap-Up interview she conducted, many of the listeners could connect to her experiences of learning to love themselves as well as doubting herself. Cara has earned a name for including messages on the importance of mental health, kindness and self-love into her music. Cara has struggled with anxiety and insomnia that has influenced her music. Reuters stated that she calls the album "half turbulent, and half finished". The growth of her career was helped through therapy. She advises other people when they need to seek support. Alessia Cara, a Canadian musician, was born in Canada on 11 July 1996 of Italian descent parents. At the age of 10 old her parents gave her a guitar that became the beginning of her musical passion. She began to cover her favorite songs when she was 13, to prove to the world she had the skills and the courage necessary to be the next singer. In fact she covered one of her songs Sweater Weather became the track that made her the focus of EP Entertainment. They allowed her to compose as well as record herself music.
