In 2015 at 19 she published her first debut single Here. It became a huge hit immediately, and both critics and the fans were awed by the song. It was ranked in the Canadian Hot 100, and Billboard Hot 100, ranked it as 19. Even Rolling Stone ranked the song as one of 2015's Best Songs. In that same year she debuted her album Know It All with the third track Scars to Your Beautiful being one of five original tracks which reached the top of Billboard charts including those of the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100. In her interview with Rap-Up, many listeners spoke about Cara's self-love journey and the doubts she faced. Cara is well-known for her ability to incorporate the themes of mental health and compassion and self-love in her songs. All of Cara's music stems directly from her battle with depression, insomnia and other health issues. According to a Reuters' interview, she's said that her album was half turbulent however, it is half finished. She says she grew by therapy and is adamant about encouraging others to seek help when they need it. Alessia Cara is a Canadian artist who was born the 11th of July, 1996 to parents from Italian origin. Her parents gave her a brand-new guitar that she was able to use to further develop her passion for music. After three years, at 13, she began singing her most loved songs via YouTube. It proved to be a fantastic method to demonstrate to the world that she possessed both the talent and the courage. Sweater Weather is one of these covers which led to being discovered to be signed by EP Entertainment. This record label gave her the opportunity to create new songs of her own.
