Alessia Cara is a Canadian singer who was born on the 11th of July, 1996 to parents who are of Italian descent. Her parents gave her an instrument when she was 10, and it led to her passion for music. In 2013, she covered her favorite songs for YouTube, a popular media platform. The goal was to prove that she had the talent and confidence to be an artist.
