Her debut single, Here, in 2015, when she was just aged 19. It became a huge hit immediately, and both critics and fans praised the song. The song was ranked in the top 19 on both Billboard Hot 100 in Canada and also on the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named the track one of the top Songs in 2015. In the same year, she also released Know It All. Scars to Your Beautiful is one of the five tracks that were the first to reach the Billboard charts. The song was particularly memorable due to her interview with rapper Rap-Up, many of the listeners related to her journey of self-doubt, and her journey to learn how to accept herself. Cara is known for incorporating songs about mental health, compassion and self-love in her songs. The inspiration for her music is drawn from her own personal experience as she suffered from mental health problems as well as insomnia. According to a Reuters interview, she describes the album as being half turbulent and half well-crafted. Therapy helped her grow and she encourages others to seek help if necessary. Alessia Cara is a Canadian artist who was born July 11, 1996, to parents from Italian heritage. At the age of 10 old, her parents bought her a guitar that became the beginning of her passion for music. At the age of 13she began covering songs she adored on YouTube in order to show her fans that she had talent and had the courage to pursue a career as musician. Sweater Weather was the most well-known cover. An album label, EP Entertainment, noticed her and allowed her to write songs.
