Her debut track Here was released in the year 2015. The song was an instant smash and garnered praise from the public and from critics. The song peaked at number 19 at both Canadian Hot 100 as well as the Billboard Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone listed the hit as among the Top Songs of 2015. In that same year she released her debut album Know It All with the third song Scars to Your Beautiful being the first of five tracks which reached the top of Billboard charts. This includes the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 as well as the Billboard Hot 100. The song was particularly memorable since based on her interview with rapper Rap-Up, many of the listeners shared their experiences of doubting herself and learning how to love herself. Cara has earned a name for incorporating messages about emotional health, kindness, and self-love in her songs. All of it is a result of her personal experiences as she suffered from mental health problems and insomnia. According to a Reuters interview, she's described her album as half-tumultuous but half perfected. She claims she has grown through therapy and she encourages others to seek help when they need it. Alessia Cara was born to Italian parents on July 11th, 1996. Alessia Cara's parents bought her their first guitar when she was just 10 years old. This was her beginning musically. She began to cover her favourite songs at age 13, to prove to the world she was a talented musician and the confidence required to become the next singer. In fact she covered one of her song Sweater Weather is the song that made her the focus of EP Entertainment. They allowed her to compose and create her own songs.
