In 2015 at 19 she published her first debut single Here. The track was highly praised by both critics and listeners. In the Canadian Hot 100, and Billboard Hot 100, ranked the single at 19. Even Rolling Stone named it one of the best songs of the year. That same year she debuted her debut album Know It All, the single Scars to Your Beautiful ranked at the Billboard Hot 100 and Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200. It also was among the first five songs. In her Rap-Up Interview fans discussed Cara's struggle to find self-love as well as the doubts she faced. Cara's music is known to contain messages of love self-love, self-love and mental wellness. She's been in the midst of anxiety and insomnia, both of which affected her life. According to a Reuters interview, she's described her album half tumultuous but half perfected. Therapy helped her grow and she encourages others to seek help if necessary. Alessia Cara is a Canadian performer who was born on July 11, 1996, to parents who are of Italian heritage. Her parents gifted her with a guitar when she was 10 and this ignited her love for music. In 2013, she covered her favorite songs for YouTube which is a well-known social media site. This was to demonstrate that she had the capability and the self-confidence to pursue a career as an artist.
