In 2015 at 19 she released her debut single Here. The single was a smash and garnered praise from both listeners and critics alike. The song peaked at number 19 in both the Canadian Hot 100 as well as Billboard Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone listed the hit as among top Songs of 2015. She released her debut Know It All album in the same year. The third track, Scars to Your Beautiful was one of five tracks that made it to the top spots on Billboard which included Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 in addition to Billboard Hot 100. According to a Reuters Interview, her album was described as semi-tumultuous and half-perfected. People have told her that she experienced growth in therapy. Alessia Cara, a Canadian musician was born in Canada on the 11th of July 1996 to Italian parents of Italian descent. Her parents bought her a new guitar, which she used to develop her passion for the music. At the age of 13 she started covering her most loved songs through YouTube a major media platform to prove to the world she possessed the talent skills and the determination to be a professional singer.
