Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in Decatur, Illinois. She and LeAnnekymes were among the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer, songwriter and bluegrass musician. She was born on the 23rd of July 1971. She was a teenager when she began her journey into the music world and was a winner of local contests at the age of 10 old and recording her first album at the age of fourteen years of age. When she was 14, she released her first solo album, after being signed to Rounder Records. She joined the group with whom she performs, Alison Krauss Union Station. The group released their debut album in 1989.
